Hmmmm, this is a hard one for me to read. Some of the images seem conflicting. The lake is calm and reflective, but the image directly below it is dark and turbulent. The second image is cold and lifeless, but the one below it is colorful and vibrant. So, I’m guessing that you are feeling a little conflicted? Wondering also if you are preoccupied by questions of spirituality. The blue…I don’t know, the color is serene, but the way the fabric is bunched and twisted make it seem somehow violent.

Regardless, I like them all. Maybe it is their very contrariness that makes them compelling.

I love mendhi so much. It’s so astonishingly beautiful. If I had attractive hands, I would get it done. I know you can do it other places, but I don’t have attractive feet, belly or arms either!

What a beautiful and moving board. The atmosphere in it is so strong, I love it. It reminds me of wintry days on the island where I grew up which was the most atmospheric place I could imagine, reading books about exotic places and dreaming of travelling to India.

Wow! I love the contrast. Depending on my mood, different things inspire me at different times. A gray day can be just as inspiring as sitting an old church.

Have you ever thought to change occupations? What is your heart’s desire? I am in that place at the moment.

I agree with Blog Antagonist – there’s a bit of conflict going on here. But I think it might be productive conflict. Gorgeous.

These visuals are great! I love the henna painted hand and the blue swirly fabric. I’m curious whether it helps with inspirations, too.

I’m from India, and it made me smile to see 5 out of 8 pictures on your inspiration board related to India. It’s also refreshing to to know that not everyone thinks we still use elephants to commute and we don’t know what the internet is :) (because I have been asked that question before).

    That would inspire anyone! Beautiful!
